Our Missionaries

Albert Outa, Pastor, Nairobi Chapel Rongai

Pastor Albo has been involved at Chapel since he was very young. He accepted the Lord in 1991 while in high school. After graduating from the University of Nairobi with a Bsc. in Mechanical Engineering in 2001, he became an intern and grew to Initiate Club Xpressions. While still active in youth ministry he pursued his MDIV, Biblical Studies from NEGST (Now AIU) and thereafter served as worship and young adults' pastor at Nairobi Chapel in 2010-2012. Pst Albo was commissioned to plant NC Rongai in January 2012, where he continues to serve as the Lead Pastor. He is married to Eda Esilaba and they have two Children, Bulamu (5) and Seo (3).

John Njenga, Pastor Trinity Chapel Meru

Pastor John leads Trinity Chapel Meru, which is now two years old. Pst John joined the Nairobi Chapel as an intern in Jan 2008 fresh from graduating from theological college in 2007. He had previously served as a Pastoral Trainee in the mission’s department team. John holds a BA. Bible & Theology from East African School of Theology. He is married to AnneRose and they have two wonderful children.

Matt Miller, Pastor Trinity Chapel, Monrovia


Pastor Matt Miller is one of the pastors sent to launch Trinity Chapel Monrovia. After graduating with an MBA from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, Pst Matt felt that his heart was not in business. He first came to Nairobi Chapel as an intern fresh from Elmbrook Church where he had served in the Men's Ministry Department. Pastor Matt has previously served in the pastoral Care Department at the Chapel before leaving for Liberia. He is married to Pastor Phyllis Wangui.

 

Phyllis Wangui Miller, Trinity Chapel Monrovia


Pastor Wangui's call to serve the Lord became clear when she joined Pan Africa Christian University and graduated with a BA in Counselling. Her increasing intimacy with God and his Word slowly gravitated her towards young people, and it was in serving God that she found both fulfillment and peace of heart. Pst Wangui previously served in the Youth Department (Club Xpressions) where she witnessed the transformation of several young people before joining her husband to plant Trinity Chapel Monrovia.

Tobbias Ngala ,Trinity Chapel, Mombasa


Pastor Tobbias Ngala has nurtured the dream of mission work and church planting since childhood. He accepted the Lord in 1992 while in primary school. Raised in Nairobi, he got involved in youth work around churches and in the community. After his first degree he served as the youth pastor for 8 years in two churches in Nairobi. He also has been in the music industry and is a passionate worship leader. He holds a B.A in Tourism and Swahili (University of Nairobi) Dip. Bible and Theology (Kings Bible School) and a Master of Divinity (Intercultural Studies/ Missions) from Nairobi International School of Theology, NIST, (now International Leadership University). Pst Tobbias was commissioned to plant TC Mombasa in August 2012, where he continues to serve as the Lead Pastor. Tobbias is married to Joyce Ngala and together have two children Laurel Lulu (2) and Asher Amani.

Peter Kamau, Trinity chapel, Mombasa


Pastor Peter Kamau grew up in a strict Catholic family, then received Christ in 1998 during a Kenya Secondary Christian Fellowship (KSCF) student’s camp. He has been involved in several church plants and was part of the team that was initially sent to plant Meru Chapel in 2002. He thereafter took on several ministry assignments with other churches and in 2012, rejoined the Chapel where he was commissioned to plant Trinity Chapel Mombasa,alongside pastor Tobbias. He is a graduate of the Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College, with an Advanced Diploma in Bible and Theology. Pastor Peter is married to Susan Njeri Kamau and they have a daughter, Gabriella Njeri Kamau.

Wondwossen Seifu, Trinity Chapel, Addis


Pastor Wondwossen joined the team at Nairobi Chapel in 2012, having been picked during a spy mission to Addis in 2011. He was directed to the Chapel as a man of experience who had been praying for opportunities like those the Chapel was seeking. He spent the better part of 2012 in Nairobi with the pastors and staff there before being sent out to launch Trinity Chapel Addis. The church was officially launched in December 2012. Pastor Wondwossen is married to Mehret and they have three adorable children.

Pastor Steve Thuo Trinity Chapel Ruiru

Steve Thuo is a graduate of Tyndale Seminary, Toronto where he received his MDIV in Biblical studies. His initial desire was to work in the aviation industry but felt a call into ministry. His passion is to see the Word of God efficiently appropriated so that the Christian is disciple and equipped to do the work of ministry. Pastor Steve attributes his growth in ministry to the mentoring of older ministers in his life. He is married to Pastor Marion Thuo and they have a son – Ethan.

Bruno Musumba -Trinity Chapel Rwanda


Pst Bruno recieved the Lord in high school and got involved in praise and worship at a young age ,shaping his direction in ministry for ever. A graduate of the East African School of Theology, he desires to touch the lives of many people in different nations through music and the ministry of the word . He joined the Chapel as a Pastoral trainee, where he was shaped and pointed towards God particularly in regards to church planting and growing deeper in Ministry. He previously led worship at Nairobi Chapel Ongata Rongai as its first worship leader. Pst Bruno is the worship leader at TC, Rwanda and works together with Pst Paul Nzimbi to lead that work there. he is married to Laura Musumba and they have two children.

Laura Musumba – Trinity Chapel, Rwanda

Pst Laura gave her life to the Lord after high school and her first place of ministry service was the children's ministry. She has loved it since. Children are very receptive to the gospel and their enthusiasm is infectious. She has been on our staff team, previously overseeing and facilitating ministry among our 2 – 5 year olds as their Sunday School Superintendent. She later moved to start off the Children's Ministry at Ongata Rongai, one of our church plants, before being sent off with Pst Bruno to champion the work in Rwanda. Laura is a graduate of East African School of Theology (BA. Bible & Theology)
